You can choose to set the controller date and time manually or sync to an Internet NTP
server.
NTP Settings – Check Enable NTP Server to use an Internet NTP server to
synchronize the controller date and time.
Note: The controller IP address, gateway, and DNS IP address settings must be
configured properly under the Maintenance > LAN section in order to correctly
synchronize with an Internet NTP server.
o NTP Server – Enter the domain name of the Internet NTP server.
o Time Zone – Click the drop down menu and select the correct time
zone.
Date and Time – Manually set the controller date and time by click the drop
down menus and selecting the correct date and time parameters.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) Settings
Management > PoE
The controller allows you to manually enable or disable PoE per port (PoE+ ports 1-4),
set power priority per port and also scheduling when PoE should be enabled or disabled.
This section also displays PoE status information per port such as power, voltage,
current, total power budget available and the current power consumption used.
1. Log into your controller management page (see “Access you wireless controller
management page” on page 10).
2. Click on Management and click on PoE.
3. Review the settings PoE settings below. In the Action column, click on Apply to apply
the configuration changes.
Power Budget – Displays the total amount of power available for PoE devices.
Power Consumption – Displays the total amount of power currently used by
PoE devices.
