Create additional users to access controller management
Management > User
You may want to create additional administrative accounts or user accounts with read
only privileges to the controller management configuration.
1. Log into your controller management page (see “Access you wireless controller
management page” on page 10).
2. Click on Management and click on User.
3. To create a new user, click Create.
4. Enter the user name and password for the new account.
5. Select the permission settings for the new user account and click OK to create the
new account.
admin – administrative users can access controller management and modify controller
configuration settings. Full access.
normal – restricted users can access controller management and view configuration but
cannot modify any controller configuration settings. Restricted access.
Set your controller date and time settings
Configuration > Sites
1. Log into your controller management page (see “Access you wireless controller
management page” on page 10).
2. Click on Configuration and click on Sites.
3. Review the settings below to set up the device date and time accordingly. Click Apply
when to apply the configuration settings.
System Time – Displays the controller current date and time.
Daylight Savings Time – Check the Enable option to configure the period when
daylight savings time should be active and time offset when DST is active.
o Offset – Select the time offset when DST is active.
o DST Start – Select the Month, Week, Day, and Hour when the DST
period should start.
o DST End - Select the Month, Week, Day, and Hour when the DST
period should start.
