The welcome page of the configuration dialog displays possible menu op‐
tions in the top part. The bottom part displays the current RAID configu‐
ration of the hard disks.
10. Select <1> "Create RAID Volume".
11. Define the parameters for RAID operation in the following dialog, see fig.
9-25 "Parameters for RAID operation" on page 85.

Select under "RAID Level" the "RAID1(Mirror)" value if a better data se‐
curity should be reached by data mirroring. The data mirroring causes that,
in case of a hard disk failure, there is no data loss and the system still can
be booted. The mirroring causes that the capacity of the entire hard disk
is halved.
12. Confirm the entries with <Enter>. The following dialog displays an over‐
view of your setting, see fig. 9-26 "Overview RAID configuration" on page
86.
