Note:
1. All the settings will not take effect until you click “Apply”. When applying the
changes, the recording operation will stop for a while (maximum 1 minute) and
then restart.
2. Click “Search” to search for the IP cameras on the local network. Select a
channel for the IP camera and click “Add” to add the camera. By using the
search function, the camera model and the IP address are filled in
automatically. Click “Close” to close the search results.
Add generic IP camera support by the CGI command
The NVR provides an interface for the users to enter the JPEG CGI command of the
IP cameras in order to receive the video and audio streaming data from the IP
cameras and monitor, record, and playback the video of the IP cameras on the NVR.
Follow the steps below to configure your IP camera.
1. Select the IP camera number.
2. Select “Generic Model” for the camera brand.
3. Select “Generic JPEG” for the camera model.
4. Enter the cgi path of the IP camera in the “HTTP URL” field.
5. Enter the camera name or the IP address of the camera.
6. Enter the user name and the password of the IP camera.
7. Select to enable the recording or not.
8. Click “Apply” to save the settings.
