5.2 Setting the cross section
The cross section is automatically set on the Power Strip-
per ... auto models.
The cross section must be manually set on the Power
Stripper 6.0 and Power Stripper 16 models.

Rotate the control knob until the correct value is shown
on the display.
Insert the wire until it is stripped.

A minor adjustment is required depending on the
condition of the wire.
Only on the Power Stripper 6.0: Insert the addi-
tional funnel into the insertion funnel with wire
cross sections of 0.05 – 0.34 mm².
5.3 Performing a stripping test
Each time the material to be processed has been changed,
a stripping test must be conducted.
Switch on the mains switch.
Insert a wire for stripping.
Check the result:
Is all the stranded wire undamaged?
Has stripping been performed straight and evenly?

Move the locking knob (1) in an anti-clockwise direction
to release it.
Rotate the control knob until the correct value is shown
on the display.
Move the locking knob (1) in a clockwise direction to
lock it again.
