ISpeakers I

• Use speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 _ to 16 _.

• The front speaker R terminal is only used in stereo mode (Not available during DVD 5.1 channel, DSP mode, 1313(Dolby)

mode (VSX-D508), or []/DTS mode (VSX-D608)).

• When you use the speaker on your TV as a center speaker, please connect the CENTER PREOUT jack on this unit to

the audio input jack on your TV. In this case, the center speaker shown below is unnecessary. Refer to the instruction

manual supplied with the TV or monitor you are connecting to for more information.

• You can set the configuration of your speaker system, whether the sizes of the speakers are large or small, and

whether or not you have a sub woofer connected. (Refer to pages 16 to 18)

shown in this manual may be available, For more

details, refer to the instruction manual supplied with

the sub woofer,

with

nominal impedance of 6

_to8_ore_ to 16 _.

When using speakers

with impedance of at

least 6 Q but less than 8

_, set the IMPEDANCE

SELECTOP, to the

"6~LESS THAN 8 D"

position.

When using 8 Q to 16

_, set the IMPEDANCE

SELECTOR to "8~16 _"

position.

Be sure to complete all other

connections before connecting

this unit to the AC power source.

II Speaker terminals

Fwist exposed wire

strands together.

Push tab to the open position, and

insert the wire. Then, close tab

firmly to secure the wire in place.

(VSX-D6O8 only)

Turn counter-clockwise to loosen, and insert

the wire. Then turn clockwise to tighten.
