Optical digital input 3 setting (VSX-D608 only)

Sets the input component to be assigned to the optical input 3 jack,

• Initial setting is "TV'.

• You cannot assign the same component to more than one digital input jack. The jack most

recently selected is established for the component and the jack formerly selected is turned off.

• DVD/LD, TV/SAT, CD, MD/TAPE, VCR 1 (VCR only on VSX-D508) digital input connection is

possible.

Press A or v to set the optical digital input 3 (DVD, TV, CD,

MD, VCR 1),

Setting the volume level of each channel(Adjusting the speaker volume balance)

• The sound pressure of SUB WOOFER sounds audibly small.

• The speaker volume can be adjusted without outputting the test tone by pressing CHANNEL LEVEL or

CHANNEL SELECT.

• initial setting is O dB.

Press lid.

Press VOL + or - to adjust the volume to an appropriate

level,

Press TEST TONE to output the test tone.

The test tone is output in the following order.

• Test tone is only output in Dolby (VSX-D508) or Dolby/DTS

(VSX-D608) mode.

Adjust speaker levels so that you hear the test tone at

the same volume from each speaker when seated in the

main listening position,

The channel level ranges _+10 dB,

{_ • Levels can be set for each surround mode.

• When both the DSP mode and Dolby Surroud mode are turned

on, priority is given to the Dolby Surround mode.

5 Press TEST TONE to turn off the test tone.
