Adjusting bass and treble (tone control)

Use BASS (+/-) or TREBLE (+/-) to adjust the low and high frequencies.

Press BASS (+/-) to adjust the low frequencies,

Press TREBLE (+/-) to adjust the high frequencies.

• The tone control can be adjusted in a range of _+6.

• Pressing + and - simultaneously restores the setting to O.

• In cases described below, the tone control cannot be adjusted.

dl_ Dolby/DTS (VSX-D608) or Dolby (VSX-D508) mode is ON.

Adjusting the brightness of the display

Use FL DIMMER to adjust the brightness of the fluorescent display.

Press FL DIMMER.

Four levels of brightness ranging from very dim to very bright can be

selected. Each press changes the brightness of the display. When rotating

through the options, the default brightness can also be selected.

in standby, pressing STANDBY/ON while holding down the 011/DTS (VSX-

D608) or 011(VSX-D508) button returns the display to the default brightness.
