6.8.8 Using the COM24 Software Reset Feature

This section allows you to initiate a software reset on the card identified in the “CardIP” field.
This is sometimes helpful in situations where a card has become non-responsive. Activating this
feature is the equivalent to pushing the recessed reset button on the face of the COM24 card, and
has a similar effect as pressing the small reset button on a traditional set-top box.
