9. Check the status of both Plug-Ins under the Status heading. Both Plug-Ins should
display Activated.
10. If the Status displays Deactivated, select the Plug-in.
11. Click on the Update button.
12. The Update Plug-in screen displays:
Click on the Browse button.
Select the Plug-in file and click on the Open button.
Click on the Update button.
13. If the Status displays Deactivated, select the Plug-in and click on the Start button.
14. Click OK when the message displays.
15. Check the status for the Plug-Ins. The Status will display Reboot to Activate.
16. Reboot the machine to activate the plug-in:
Click on the Status tab.
Click on the Reboot Machine button.
Click on OK when the Do you want to reboot? message displays.
17. Once device has rebooted the Status will displays Activated.
Note
Select the plug-in and click on Details to view and ensure the correct version was
uploaded. Click on the Close button to return to the List of Embedded Plug-Ins page.
Configuring Xerox Secure Access for Authentication
1. At your workstation, open the web browser and enter the IP address of the device
in the address bar.
2. Press Enter.
3. Click on the Properties tab.
4. If prompted, enter the system administrators User Name and Password. The default
is admin and 1111.
5. Click on OK.
6. Select the Security link.
7. Select Authentication Configuration in the directory tree.
8. The Authentication Configuration > Step 1 of 2 page displays:
Select Xerox Secure Access from the Login Type drop-down menu.
Click on Apply then click on the OK button when message displays.
9. Reboot the machine.
Click on theStatus tab.
Click on theReboot Machine button.
Click onOK when the Do you want to reboot? message displays.
