Generator Storage
For storage of the generator for over 30 days, the following
is required:
z
Drain the fuel tank completely.
z
Run the engine until
all
the diesel fuel is completely
consumed.
z
Completely drain the oil from the crankcase and refill
with fresh oil.
z
Disconnect the
negative
battery cable from the battery.
z
Clean all external parts of the generator with a cloth.
z
Cover the welder/generator and store in a clean, dry
place.
