Scan finger
1. Tap the target (+) that corresponds to the finger you are enrolling. In order of
preference, select your index finger, middle finger, or thumb. Enroll your ring
finger or pinky only if you cannot successfully enroll the other fingers. If you
do tap the ring finger or pinky, a warning message appears; you can then
continue or change the finger.
Note: Ensure that your finger is clean, and not too dry.
2. Directly face the timeclock so that you can comfortably place your finger on
the sensor—without awkwardly extending your arm or hand.
3. Position your finger core above the center of the sensor.
4. Place your finger flat on the sensor. Do not twist, rotate, or slide your finger
while it is on the sensor. If your finger is positioned incorrectly, the system
instructs you to reposition it for a successful scan.
