3. Analog outputs (1~8) are designed to be heard through a mixer, amp, and speakers generally.
Output ports will function differently in ‘Normal mode’ than ‘Monitoring mode.’ Please, be
familiar with these functions to take full advantage of the INCA88.
-Normal Mode
In Normal mode, analog outputs 1~8 works as output ports of a wave device. You can set up
these in your application or Windows Multimedia properties. This Normal mode is usually used
for multiple outputs when you use a mixer or a multi-track recorder. You can use these in multi-
track recording programs such as Cubase and Cakewalk. <Picture 4-8 >
Normal mode will also be used for the INCA88 5.1channel Dolby surround sound system. By
playing Dolby Surround supporting DVDs, the INCA88 will go into Surround setup
automatically. You need to connect the speakers to each assigned output and place the speakers
according to Surround specifications. The following picture will describe a generally-
