2. Hazards Identification/Overview

Appearance/Odor: White opaque, free-flowing liquid with sweet herbal (cinnamon)

odor.

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: No hazardous materials present as defined in 29 CFR

1910.1000, 40 CFR 260 – 281, 302, 355, 370, 372 or WHMIS.

WARNING: Vapors may cause skin/eye irritation for certain individuals who are

sensitized.

3. Health Hazard Data/First Aid Measures

Inhalation: None expected, however, certain individuals may be sensitized and

experience minor nausea or headaches.

Emergency and first aid procedures: Remove affected person to fresh air; if

symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

Skin: None expected, however prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation

and dermatitis.

Emergency and first aid procedures: Remove contaminated clothing; wash

affected area with soap and water; launder contaminated clothing before reuse; if

irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Eyes: Contact with eyes may cause irritation.

Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes; if irritation persists, seek medical attention. Ingestion: May cause gastric distress, vomiting and diarrhea. Emergency and first aid procedures: Give two glasses of water for dilution; DO NOT induce vomiting; seek medical attention.

Material is shock stable. 7. Accidental Release Measures Steps to be taken in case materials is released or spilled: Small spills – wash to sanitary sewer with plenty of water. Large spills – soak up with approved absorbent, shovel product into approved container for disposal. Wash area with plenty of water.
