Getting started PLEASE READ ‘LET’S TALK SAFETY’ AT THE BEGINNING BEFORE USE IMPORTANT: Carpets should be dry vacuumed thoroughly before washing. Test for colourfastness – Wet a white absorbent cloth with the solution. In a small hidden area of your carpet/rugs/ upholstery gently rub with the dampened cloth. When the dirty water tank is full, or the floorhead is not in contact with the carpet, the float will shut off the suction on the carpet washer. You will be able to hear if this has happened as the motor noise on the machine will increase. Once the float is activated, empty the dirty water tank if full.
