OUTLETS
1. Installation
a. Mount the timer onto a
wall near a grounded
electrical outlet with the
photo sensor facing
outward. Note: To
ensure proper operation
of automatic function,
ensure photocell sensor
is shielded from all nighttime sources of light, i.e.
floodlights.
b. Insert nail or screw (not included) into mounting
surface. Nail or screw head must extend at least
3/16 in. out from the wall. Hang the receiver from
the slot on back of the unit onto the nail or screw.
Plug the power supply cord of the receiver into
the outlet.
c. Plug the device cord into any of the two
receptacles at the bottom of the receiver.
• Before using your timer, please read the following
instructions carefully.
Let the switch hang downward so moisture does not
accumulate in the outlet. Install cord and unit at twice
the product height above ground level with the
receptacle facing downward. Red indicator light is lit
when the outdoor receiver/switch is on. Store indoors
when not in use. Suitable for damp locations. Not for
water immersion or for use where directly exposed to
water.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to
comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However, there
is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception.
Which can be determined by turning the equipment off
and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
--Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
--Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
--Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit
different from that to which the receiver is connected.
--Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/
TV technician for help.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance could void the
user's authority to operate this equipment.
• Risk of fire. Not for permanent installation. Use only
with outdoor equipment, Christmas tree, or other
seasonal decorative-lighting products having a total
of 12 ampere maximum. Do not install or use this
product for more than a 90-day period.
• If using Christmas tree or decorative-lighting products
that are not marked with an ampere rating, connect
no more than 140 screw-base lamps (C7 or C9) or 12
strings with midget (push-in) lamps to this cord set.
• Cord sets shall be plugged into a GFCI-protected
receptacle.
• If using an outdoor-use cord set for an extended
period of time ( greater than 90 days ), please
consider hard wiring a permanent outdoor-use
receptacle rated for year-round use in the area that
power is needed. Please contact a licensed
electrician for proper installation of permanent wiring.
• After completion of installation, the connector shall be
maintained a minimum of 6 in. above ground.
• SUITABLE FOR INDOOR/OUTDOOR USE – STORE
INDOORS WHILE NOT IN USE.
• CAUTION: PLUG INTO GROUND FAULT
PROTECTED RECEPTACLE ONLY.
• Position the timer away from other light sources. If the
timer is too close to other light sources, or if the
photocell is facing a light source such as a porch light
or streetlight, the photocell may turn off the fixture
outside of the timed settings. If this happens, relocate
the the timer or eliminate those other light sources.

• This product is guaranteed to be free of defects for
a limited period of one year form the date of
purchase.
• If the product suddenly malfunctions and is not
damaged by external factors or personal reasons
within the one year warranty limit from the day of
purchase, the product maybe considered for repair.
If the product is damaged due to natural disaster like
fire, lightning, flood, hurricane, etc., the product will
not be considered for repair.

3. Timer and remote interaction
Your timer includes a remote
control with temporary
override:
• Temporary override ON:
turns the timer ON for
desired settings (2, 4, 6 or
8 Hours). Please note that
if the timer is set to a 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-hour mode, it
will come on at dusk and will turn off 2, 4, 6, or
8 hours later.
• Temporary override OFF: turns the timer OFF for
12 hours before switching control back to the timer.
5. Remote control unit
• RF (radio frequency)
transmitter is powered by
one 12V alkaline battery.
• Red indicator light (1.)
• Flickers when transmitting.
• Remote operates the
receiver.
• Chain and key ring (2.) for pocket or purse key ring
use
• Replace battery when red indicator light (1.) does
not flicker when a button is pressed.

4. Examples
• Timer set to DUSK-DAWN
When DUSK = 6:00 PM
and DAWN = 5:00 AM. If
at 4 :00 PM REMOTE
activated to ON -->
TIMER OUTPUT ON and
stays ON until 5:00 AM.
Next day, ON at DUSK, OFF at DAWN. If at 10:00
PM REMOTE activated to OFF --> TIMER
OUTPUT OFF = 10:00 PM and stays OFF until
DAWN next day. Next day ON at DUSK, OFF at
DAWN.
• If TIMER setting is 2 HOURS (or 4, 6, 8 HOURS
and so on) DAY OR NIGHT TIME REMOTE ON -->
TIMER OUTPUT ON 2 HOURS (4, 6, 8 HOURS)
then OFF. When DUSK --> TIMER OUTPUT ON 2
HOURS (4, 6, 8 HOURS) then OFF. If DUSK is at
6:00 PM:
(1) If at 5:00 PM REMOTE set ON, then TIMER
OUTPUT ON immediately until 8:00 PM (as
time count restarted at dusk time).
(2) TIMER ON = 6:00 PM, TIMER OFF = 8:00 PM.
If at 1:00 PM REMOTE set ON, then TIMER
OUTPUT turns ON until 3:00 PM.
(3) TIMER ON = 6:00 PM. If at 7:00 PM REMOTE
set ON TIMER OUTPUT ON until 9:00 PM (as
time count restarted at time remote activates to
ON).
(4) TIMER ON = 6:00 PM. If at 7:00 PM REMOTE
set OFF, then TIMER OUTPUT turns OFF
immediately until next day.
6. Battery replacement
• Remove the battery
compartment cover from
the back of the remote
control by sliding the
cover in the direction that
its treads curve.
• Remove the spent battery
and place a new DC 12V Type 23A battery into the
battery compartment, correctly observing the
polarity indications (+/−) inside the battery
compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment cover.
• Dispose or recycle spent/discharged batteries in
compliance with all applicable laws. For detailed
information, contact your local solid waste
authority.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged. Do not mix different types of batteries
such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable
batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct
polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed
from the product.
• One A23 alkaline battery.
Battery included.
• DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE.
BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK.

1. Setting the Clock
a. Press CLOCK button to
set current time.
b. Press DAY button to set
current week day.
Week Day setting range:

c. Press HOUR button to
set current hour.
Hour setting range: 12-hour clock AM/PM.
d. Press MIN button to set current min.
Minute setting range: 00-59.
e. Press ENTER button to finish current time setting.
f. Leave the unit for 10 seconds without any setting,
the program will auto save current setting and
display the current time.
3. To Use Photo Cell Timer
a. Press PHOTO CELL
button to start Photo

setting – "On At Dusk".
b. Continually press
PROGRAM button to
set the OFF time. Start
with "OFF at Dawn",
then continue to "Hours after Dusk". Hour settings
range from 1 hour to 12 hours after dusk.
2. To Use 7 Days Timer
Each program is an On
and Off setting. For
example, to have your
lights turn on and off the
same time every day of the
week you only need to use
Program A.

There are a total of 7 on/off settings.
Press ENTER button to finish timer setting. Or leave
the unit for 10 seconds without any setting and the
program will auto save current setting and display
the current time.

5. Reviewing Programmed
Events
a. In the current time
display, press the
PROGRAM button
repeatedly to check your
settings.
b. When finished, press the
ENTER button or leave
the unit over 10 seconds to return the display to
the time of day.

6. Resetting the Timer
In case of an operational
failure of the timer, press
the RESET button to clear
all settings and restart.

4. Overriding Timer Settings
The ON/OFF buttons
override the current
programmed events.
1. To override the current
program (either ON or
OFF), press the ON/OFF
button.
NOTE: If the timer is not in “Manual” mode, it will
obey the next programmed event. This
allows the user to manually turn a light on
and allow the program to shut the light back
off at a preset time.
