Charging Instructions 9 YOU MUST CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE THE FIRST USE! ONLY AN ADULT SHOULD HANDLE THE BATTERY AND CHARGER. To Charge the Battery: 1. Ensure the vehicle is stopped and turned off. 2. Unlock and remove the seat. 3. Located the red battery connector (A) that attaches directly to the battery. 4. Connect the red battery connector to the red battery charger connector (B). 5. Plug into a 120 V outlet. B A To Reconnect the Battery: 6. Unplug the battery charger from the outlet.
Assemble the Front Wheels 10 Helpful Tip: 1. Using pliers will make it easier to remove the snap pin from the wheel axle 5 11 13 7 1. Locate the Φ10 Thick Washers (10), the Φ10 thin washers (11), and snap pins (13) from blister pack. 2. Slide the front Φ10 thick washer (10) onto the axle. 3. Slide the front wheel (5) onto the axle. Ensure that the side of the wheel with the slots is facing out. 4. Slide the Φ10 thin washer (11) onto the axle. 5.
Assemble the Left Rear Wheel 11 8 12 6 9 13 7 1. Locate the rear Φ12 thick washer (8), the thin washer (9), the snap pin (13), and inner wheel spacer (12) from blister pack. Slide the rear Φ12 thick washer (8) onto the axle. Slide the inner wheel spacer (12) onto the axle with the wide end facing out. Slide the left rear wheel (6) onto the axle with the gear teeth facing inward. Slide the Φ12 thin washer (9) onto the axle.
Assemble the Right Rear Wheel Helpful Tip: 1. 2. wheels onto the rear axle, then your rear wheel axle may need to be realigned. Remove both wheels from the rear wheel axle. Using two hands, push down on the rear wheel axle and slide it gently toward the side of the vehicle that needs more room. 1. Operation Instructions Loudspeaker MP3 ON/OFF/Volume MP3 Jack Battery Life Indicator Siren Shifter Power Switch Sounds Foot Pedal • Push the power switch to turn on the car. The power indicator light will turn on when the car is on. Press the power switch again to turn off the car. • Push the shifter forward to move forward. Pull the shifter backward to go in reverse. • Insert the MP3 cable (19) into the MP3 jack and connect to your device. Turn the MP3 on by rotating the on/off dial.
Battery Removal 17 Battery Strap 1. Unlock and remove the seat 2. Disconnect the red battery connector from the red engine connector 3. Loosen and remove the screw from the battery strap using a Phillips screwdriver 4. Slide the battery strap out from the battery strap slot 5. Remove the battery Note: It is not necessary to remove the battery for charging. However, if the battery does not reach the outlet, then it can be removed for charging.
Seatbelt A B To properly fasten the seatbelt, fold side B over the child’s lap. Then fold side A over side B, and fasten the seat belt with the Velcro. Ensure the seat belt is at a suitable length for comfort and safety. The seat belt is only intended to keep child seated. Fasten securely across waist.
Maintenance 19 Important Battery and Charger Information • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Only an adult who has read and understands the safety warnings may handle and operate the battery and battery charger. Keep away from children. Charge the battery for 24 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. Recharge the battery immediately after each use. Charge for at least 8-12 hours, but no more than 20 hours. Charge the battery at least once a month, even if the vehicle is not used or stored.
• General Care Regularly inspect all vehicle parts to ensure they are in good working condition. • Regularly inspect the charger, cord, plug, and other related parts for damage. • Remove any damaged parts and immediately contact Customer Service for replacement parts. See Service and Repairs on Page 24 for more information. • DO NOT operate the vehicle if there are any damaged parts. • Carefully clean the vehicle with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not get water in or near any electrical parts.
