Instruction: 1. Choose the right quick disconnect cord and connect it to the phone’s headset jack a) For Polycom IP phone models have RJ9 headset jack, like VVX series, Microsoft Lync CX series, SoundPoint 335 and above, choose the RJ9 Quick Disconnect Cord and connect it to back of the phone as picture below: (Polycom has many different phone models; not all the RJ9 headset jack ports are located in the same place.
5. To optimize the position of the microphone, adjust the microphone stem in either direction so the microphone is close to the corner of your mouth and the white dot at the microphone should be facing to your mouth. 6. Attach the clothing clip at a comfortable level to keep the headset properly positioned and free form the cord’s weight. 7. Press the headset key on the telephone keypad to get dial tone to the headset, answer an incoming call and disconnect call.
