Monitor Brightness
Follow the steps below to adjust monitor brightness when the camera is in
movie mode.

Select Monitor brightness in the i‑button menu.
With the camera in movie mode, press the i button to display the

to highlight Monitor brightness and

to view options.

Adjust brightness.

to choose the desired brightness and press
J
to se-
lect (note that this aects live view only and has no eect on photo-
graphs or movies or on the brightness of the monitor for menus or
playback). Press the i button to exit to the shooting display when
settings are complete.
Menus and Playback
The brightness of the monitor for menus and playback can be adjusted using the Monitor brightness
option in the setup menu.
