Preparing for Shooting
Camera Setup
1 Turn the camera on.
• Use the multi selector to select and adjust settings.
• A language selection dialog will be displayed. Press
HI on the multi selector to highlight a language
and press the k button to select.
• The language can be changed at any time using
the Language option in the setup menu.
• The power switch is enabled a few seconds after
the battery is inserted. Wait a few seconds before
pressing the power switch.
2 When the dialog at right is displayed,
follow the instructions below and press
the d or k button.
• If you will not establish a wireless connection with
a smart device: Press the d button and proceed
to step 3.
• If you will establish a wireless connection with a
smart device: Press the k button. See “Connecting
to a Smart Device (SnapBridge)” (A23) for information about the setup procedure.
3 When prompted to set the camera clock, press HI to highlight
