– Delay Brew – Would you like to wake up to a fresh pot of coffee? The timer allows you to preset when you would like the coffeemaker to automatically begin brewing your coffee, up to 24 hours in advance. SETTING THE CLOCK AND DELAY BREW TIME – Special Cleaning Cycle – Enables you to easily maintain and clean mineral deposits from your coffeemaker. 1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet.
PREPARING FOR USE B. Water Filtration System Selecting and Measuring Ground Coffee This carbon-based water filter improves the taste of your coffee by removing up to 97% of the chlorine from the water you may use to brew your coffee. For best results, use a level tablespoon for ground coffee measurement. Make sure you use medium grind coffee for a perfect brew. First, look for the MR. COFFEE® Filtration Friendly symbol on the bottom of your filter basket.
C. Adding Water and Ground Coffee BREWING COFFEE NOW 1. Open the brew basket lid. For your convenience, you can lift out the removable filter basket. 1. After completing the steps in the Adding Water and Coffee section and with the glass decanter and the filter basket securely in place, turn the coffeemaker on by pressing the SELECT button once. The BREW NOW green light will turn on to signal that the coffeemaker is on and brewing (Figure 6). 2. Place a MR.
BREWING COFFEE LATER 4. Prior to making a second pot of coffee, turn the coffeemaker off. This will reset the FRESH BREW™ TIMER feature. To turn the coffeemaker off, press the SELECT button until all lights turn off. 1. You must first set the time for when you would like the coffeemaker to begin brewing your coffee as described in Setting the Clock and the Delay Brew Timer section. 5. Make sure the decanter is empty before starting to brew coffee. 2.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINING YOUR COFFEEMAKER 5. Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanter thoroughly with clean water. Daily Cleaning 7. Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker, centered on the warming plate. 6. Fill the water reservoir with clean, fresh water. Always turn off, unplug and allow the coffeemaker to cool before cleaning.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE WARRANTY INFORMATION Replacement Parts 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY • Coffee Filters – For better tasting coffee, we recommend that you use a MR. COFFEE® brand 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter or a MR. COFFEE® brand permanent filter. These filters are available at most grocery stores. • Water Filtration - Replacement water filtration disks can be purchased through your local retailer, online at www.mrcoffee.com, or by calling 1-800-MR-COFFEE (1-800-672-6333) in the U.S.

CARACTERÍSTICAS Y BENEFICIOS DE LA CAFETERA Su nueva Cafetera MR. PROGRAMANDO LA HORA DEL RELOJ Y EL PERÍODO DE DEMORA DEL COLADO Para Programar la Hora del Reloj: A. Tabla de Medidas de Café Sugeridas 2. Oprima y mantenga oprimidos los botones de HOUR (HORA) y MINUTE (MINUTO) hasta que el reloj marque la hora actual. El indicador AM o PM está a la izquierda del visualizador (Figuras 1 y 2). FIGURA 1 ADVERTENCIA: El oprimir cualquier botón antes de programar el reloj hará que el reloj comience a marcar la hora a partir de las 12:00 a.m.
B. Sistema de Filtración de Agua C. Añadiendo Agua y Café Molido Este filtro de agua a base de carbono mejora el sabor de su café al remover el 97% del cloro del agua que usted utiliza para colar su café. 1. Levante y abra la tapa de la canasta del filtro. Para su conveniencia, usted puede sacar la canasta removible del filtro. Primero busque el símbolo MR. COFFEE® de Afinidad con la Filtración en la parte inferior de la canasta del filtro. Si no ve este símbolo, favor de llamar al 1-800-672-6333.
COLANDO CAFÉ AHORA 4. Antes de preparar otra jarra de café, apague la cafetera. Esto volverá a programar la función del Contador Regresivo del Colado™. 1. Luego de completar los pasos en la sección “Añadiendo Agua y Café Molido” y con la jarra de vidrio y la canasta del filtro colocadas en su sitio, encienda la cafetera. Para modelos programables, oprima el botón de SELECT (SELECTOR) una sola vez para encender la cafetera.
LIMPIANDO Y DÁNDOLE MANTENIMIENTO A SU CAFETERA COLANDO CAFÉ LUEGO (DEMORA DEL COLADO sólo en los modelos programables) Limpieza Diaria de su Cafetera MR. COFFEE® 1. Primero debe fijar la hora en que desearía que la cafetera comience a colar su café, según descrito en la sección “Programando la Hora del Reloj y el Período de Demora del Colado”.
4. Oprima el botón SELECTOR (SELECT) hasta que la luz roja de LIMPIO (CLEAN) se encienda (Figura 10). Para su conveniencia, el ciclo de limpieza es automático. El ciclo completo tomará de 45 a 60 minutos en completarse. Durante la limpieza su cafetera: Intervalo de Limpieza Sugerido a. Colará lentamente aproximadamente 3 tazas de la solución limpiadora. b. Pausará durante 30 minutos (el indicador de LIMPIO se mantendrá encendido para indicarle que el proceso está activo).

COFFEE® ha sido diseñada con esmero para darle muchos años de servicio sin contratiempos.
