Product Description
Dig hole about 3 times the diameter of the post. Hole
depth should be 1/3 the overall post height.
Pro-Tip: Dig posthole deeper than frost line. Contact your
local building ofcial to determine the depth of your frost line.
Use approximately 1 gallon of water per 50 lb bag of
Instant Post Set. Water amount may vary depending
on soil type and conditions.
Depending on the number of bags being used, add
about 3/4 of the required water into the hole.
Pour Instant Post Set into the hole using a circular
motion, stopping about 3-4" below ground level.
Tamp mixture to remove air pockets.
Pour balance of the required water into hole. Re-tamp
mixture, making sure no dry cement remains.
Pro-Tip: Align the post to desired level and height prior
to setting additional posts. In 10-20 minutes, you’ll have a
properly set post.
After concrete has fully set, ll the remainder of the
hole with sod or soil.
Instant Post Set is a pre-blended mix and is used for quick
setting of metal or wood posts. No mixing is required.
Instant Post Set is fast-setting and high strength.
