Instant Post Set is not designed to be used for footings or
structural supports.
Product Description
• Dig hole about 3 times the diameter of the post. Hole
depth should be 1/3 the overall post height.
Pro-Tip: Dig posthole deeper than frost line. Contact your
local building ofcial to determine the depth of your frost line.
• Use approximately 1 gallon of water per 50 lb bag of
Instant Post Set. Water amount may vary depending
on soil type and conditions.
• Depending on the number of bags being used, add
about 3/4 of the required water into the hole.
• Pour Instant Post Set into the hole using a circular
motion, stopping about 3-4" below ground level.
Tamp mixture to remove air pockets.
• Pour balance of the required water into hole. Re-tamp
mixture, making sure no dry cement remains.
Pro-Tip: Align the post to desired level and height prior
to setting additional posts. In 10-20 minutes, you’ll have a
properly set post.
• After concrete has fully set, ll the remainder of the
hole with sod or soil.
Instant Post Set is a pre-blended mix and is used for quick
setting of metal or wood posts. No mixing is required.
Instant Post Set is fast-setting and high strength.
