firm fruits, vegetables, and cheeses into coarse or fine shreds or thick or thin slices.
Thick slicer thickly slices firm foods such as vegetables to be steamed, fried, or
scalloped. Fine shredder finely shreds hard/crisp vegetables and/or cheese, and dry
bread. Coarse shredder coarsely shreds carrots, celery, onions, nuts, and chocolate.
Thin slicer thinly slices vegetables for coleslaw, potato chips, sauerkraut, etc.
Slicer/shredder is powered by the mixer, leaving your hands free to work with food.
