FIT SYSTEM LIMITED GUARANTEE – KITCHENAID BRAND 30" SLIDE-IN RANGES

Subject to the terms set forth herein, KitchenAid Brand of Whirlpool Corporation (hereafter “KitchenAid”) guarantees your new 30"

KitchenAid Brand slide-in range (qualifying models listed below) featuring the FIT System will ﬁ t your existing cutout of 30" width,

countertop depth of 24"-25", cabinet depth of 23"-24" and countertop height of 36". If your countertop cutout depth is less than 24"

and you are not satisﬁ ed with the ﬁ t of your new KitchenAid brand 30" slide-in range, KitchenAid will provide up to $100 toward the

cost of professionally modifying the depth of your countertop cutout. In addition, if your countertop cutout depth is less than 24" and

removal of your old range reveals uneven or slightly damaged edges on the sides of your countertop cutout, KitchenAid will provide

a set of two (2), (each ½" wide) trim pieces which are designed to cover up to ½" of the side edges of your countertop cutout. The

FIT System Limited Guarantee covers replacement installations in your existing cutout and is not valid for appliance installations

related to new home construction or remodeling. In unusual circumstances, the $100 maximum countertop cutout modiﬁ cation

allowance may not cover the full cost of modifying your countertop cutout depth; you are solely responsible for all costs that

exceed the $100 maximum countertop cutout modiﬁ cation allowance. KitchenAid makes no other guarantees as to the proper ﬁ t

of your new KitchenAid Brand 30" slide-in range other than as set forth herein.

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF REMEDIES AND EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES:

This FIT System Limited Guarantee applies only to countertop cutout modiﬁ cation in replacement installations; it does not apply

to the major appliance. For product information, see the Use and Care Guide provided by the manufacturer. Your sole and

exclusive remedy under this Limited Guarantee shall be the cost of countertop cutout modiﬁ cation, up to a maximum of $100.

Implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or ﬁ tness for a particular purpose, are limited to one year or the shortest

period allowed by law. KitchenAid shall not be liable for any damage done to your home or property, caused by you or any third

party, during installation of the major appliance or countertop cutout modiﬁ cation. KitchenAid shall not be liable for incidental or

consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations

on the duration of implied warranties of merchantability or ﬁ tness, so these exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. You may

have other rights which vary from state to state.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO SUBMIT A FIT SYSTEM LIMITED GUARANTEE CLAIM:

➊ WITHIN 30 DAYS of the purchase or delivery date (whichever is later) and prior to countertop cutout modiﬁ cation,

complete the contact, model and purchase information below and call the FIT System Limited Guarantee Service

Center at 800-253-1301 to initiate your claim.

➋ WITHIN 90 DAYS of the purchase or delivery date (whichever is later), mail the following documents to the address

provided by the FIT System Limited Guarantee Service Representative:

i) This completed and signed claim form;

ii)

a legible copy of your sales receipt dated between 9/1/15 and 4/1/16 and proof of the delivery date, if

you are utilizing the delivery date to calculate the 30/90-day claim periods;

iii) a photograph of the existing appliance model that is being replaced; and

iv) a dated invoice or receipt from a professional installer or contractor stating the cost to modify your existing

countertop cutout.

Retain a copy of all documents for your records. Allow 8 weeks from the date your claim form is mailed for delivery of claim payment.

TERMS: Limit one claim per household. Qualiﬁ ed replacement models must be purchased between 9/1/15 and 4/1/16. Consumer will receive the

countertop cutout modiﬁ cation cost as stated on the professional installer or contractor invoice up to a maximum value of $100. Not valid for new

installations related to new home construction or remodeling. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Only valid in the U.S.A. Not valid for bulk or multi-

unit sales to apartments, condominiums, subdivisions, and wholesalers. Omission of any required information will delay processing or disqualify your request.

All submitted proofs become the property of Whirlpool Corporation and cannot be returned. Whirlpool Corporation cannot be responsible for lost, late,

illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected submissions or postage due requests/mail. Fraudulent submissions could result in federal prosecution under

U.S. Mail Fraud Statutes (Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1341 and 1342). ALL CLAIMS SUBJECT TO AUDIT. Whirlpool reserves the right to modify or cancel

the guarantee at any time and without prior notice.
