Cnt Ac-J S-VOL. When the failure is corrected, business tasks are transferred back to the local

3DC multi-target can be used in configurations with multiple primary and secondary systems.
However, delta resync configurations are not supported in configurations with multiple primary
and secondary systems.
Procedure for setting up 3DC multi-target
Procedure 39 To set up a 3DC multi-target configuration
1. Install and set up Cnt Ac-S and Cnt Ac-J on the required systems.
2. Create a Cnt Ac-S pair on the primary system. For instructions, see the HP XP7 Continuous
Access Synchronous User Guide.
3. When Cnt Ac-S pair status is PAIR, create the Cnt Ac-J pair on the primary system. The mirror
ID must be set between 1 and 3.
Delta resync configuration
With the delta resync configuration, you bring the S-VOL to a consistent state more quickly after
failure because only missing differential data must be copied.
