This document provides information about the HP Integrity Virtual Server Manager 6.2 release. Integrity Virtual Server Manager overview Integrity Virtual Server Manager 6.2 is used to manage virtual machines (VMs) and virtual partitions (vPars). It supports the features of HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM 6.2. Integrity Virtual Server Manager Integrity Virtual Server Manager is an application that you can use from your browser to manage HP Integrity VMs (Integrity VM) and vPar resources.
• If HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM 6.1 is installed, you can manage VMs or vPars. The menu items are enabled based on the selected guest. • If HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM 6.2 is installed, you can manage both VMs and vPars. Known problems fixed in this version The following table lists the known problems resolved in this release of Virtual Server Manager 6.2. Table 1 Fixes in the Integrity Virtual Server Manager 6.
Corrective Action: If there is a Java exception while loading the iLO Virtual Console or Remote iLO Virtual console, reset the web browser configuration to the default value. Also, clean all the temporary files and cookies. • Suspend, Resume, and Virtual iLO Remote Console commands are not supported If Virtual Server Manager is installed on Integrity VM 4.3 or earlier, then Suspend, Resume, and Virtual iLO Remote Console commands are not supported. These commands are supported only on Integrity VM v4.
