Metroweave® Placemat Care Instructions

Placemats Wash/Rinse/Sanitize Practices and Procedures

1. After each use remove mat from surface after clearing plates &

silverware/chopsticks.

2. Shake off loose debris.

3 . Using a moistened cloth, wipe down both sides of the mat making certain all

visible solids are removed.

4. Heavily soiled mats may need to be pre-rinsed in the sink before repeating

step two & step three. DO NOT RUN THROUGH A DISH WASHER.

5. Stack cleaned and sanitized mats to air dry.

6. Dried mats are ready for re-use.

7. Do not dishwash the mats.

Please note: Do not cut or pull any loose strands. Strands must be resealed simply

by using a match or lighter. Hold flame briefly to the strand and this will reseal it.

Repeat as needed.
