Technical Specifications
The Dormont SmartSense safeguards you and your home with
its innovative, dual-sensing capabilities.
SmartSense is a precision-manufactured valve consisting of
two body pieces - internal valve mechanism and internal thermal
sensing ring.
In the event of a complete downstream gas line rupture causing
excess gas flow or in-home fire creating extreme elevated
temperatures, the SmartSense automatically activates by greatly
reducing or shutting off the gas flow to your home appliance.
Benefits
• Thermal Sensing Shutoff
• Protection against excessive gas leaks
• Automatic reset (non-thermal activation)
• Easy to install
• Compatible with most residential gas appliances
• Made in the USA
