Control and Monitoring
This section contains command information to congure and monitor the system, including Telnet, le transfer protocol (FTP), and trivial
le transfer protocol (TFTP).
banner exec
Congure a message that is displayed when your enter EXEC mode.
Syntax
banner exec c line c
To delete a banner, use the no banner exec command.
Parameters
c Enter the keywords banner exec, then enter a character delineator, represented here
by the letter c. Press ENTER.
line Enter a text string for your banner message ending the message with your delineator. In
the following example, the delineator is a percent character (%); the banner message is
“testing, testing”.
Defaults No banner is displayed.
