· If you al rea dy have T-On li ne in stal led on your PC and your In ter net con nec ti on is set up via an
ISDN card, you must make a few spe ci al set tings in T-On li ne. Con fi gu re WIN-Tools and the USB
dri ver as ex plai ned in the Sec ti on »In stal ling the ISDN rou ter and WIN-Tools«.
· In stall the PABX sys tem. Un der »In ter net ac cess« se lect »T-On li ne (ISDN)« as the pro vi der and
in put the data pro vi ded to you by T-On li ne un der »Ac cess data, T-On li ne«; »Port ID«, »Cor re -
spon ding T-On li ne num ber«, »User / Suf fix« and »Per so nal pass word«.
· In the T-On li ne pro gram that has al rea dy been in stal led open the tab »Ac cess me thod«. You will
then see the »Se tup Wi zard«.
· Un der »Se lect ac cess me thod«, spe ci fy ac cess via the rou ter.
· Un der »LAN se lec ti on«, mark »Home LAN«.
· Af ter your PC has been res tar ted you will see the Con trol Cen ter icon in the Wind ows »Tool bar«.
You can now in itia te In ter net ac cess via the Con trol Cen ter, or using the T-On li ne icon on your desk top.
3. Configuring the PABX system with current Internet access via ISDN (e.g. ISDN card)
· Con nect the PABX sys tem to the 230 V po wer supp ly sys tem through the plug-in po wer supp ly
unit.
Do not con nect the PABX sys tem to the PC through the USB port.
· Pla ce the CD supp lied with the sys tem con tai ning WIN-Tools in the dri ve of your PC and start the
pro gram »Pro fes sio nal Con fi gu ra tor«.
· In stall WIN-Tools on your PC so that you can con fi gu re the PABX sys tem.
· Re mo ve the CD con tai ning WIN-Tools and res tart your PC.
· Con nect the ISDN card to the in ter nal S0 bus of the PABX sys tem.
· Open the PABX Con fi gu ra tor and un der »Data ex chan ge« set the port to »ISDN, in ter nal«.
· Pro gram the ISDN card as an »In ter nal S0« sub scri ber.
Note
You must en ter the dial-up num ber for your In ter net ser vi ce pro vi der (for ex am ple, T-On li ne 0191011) un der »Di -
aler pro tec ti on«.
You can then con ti nue to use the In ter net as you nor mal ly do.

The PABX sys tem pro vi des all functions re qui red for high-per for man ce In ter net ac cess for a PC, via ISDN. Se cu ri ty
is pro vi ded by a fi re wall in te gra ted into the PABX sys tem, along with NAT (net work ad dress trans la ti on).
In ter net ac cess for all of the PCs con nec ted to the PABX sys tem is pro vi ded via one sing le con nec ti on (SUA - sing le
user ac count); only one set of ac cess data is re qui red from your In ter net ser vi ce pro vi ders (ISP). You can con fi gu re
more than one ISP.
