Feed the left leg strap between legs and thread through the bottom left waist loop. Repeat with the right leg strap, feeding between legs and through right waist loop. Assemble the rail by sleeving the rear rails into the front rails and secure using (2) 1/4" x 1 1/4" hex bolts [J] and (2) 1/4" nylock nuts. Next insert the rail connector into each end of the front rails, aligning holes. (fig. 4) STEP 11. (see fig. 1) Remove slack from strap by pulling loose end as tightly as possible. (see fig. 2) STEP 2. Then ratchet handle back and forth to tighten straps, a minimum of two (2) wraps around the ratchet reel is required. (see fig. 3) STEP 3. After strap is tight, close handle to the lock position.
