General Guidelines

• It is the user’s responsibility to read and follow all instructions.

• Keep these instructions with the product at all times and review before each use.

or purchases the product.

• Inspect the product before use to ensure it is assembled properly and all parts are in safe working

order and free of defects.

Safety

• Never exceed the carrying capacity of 800 lbs. Doing so could result in property damage or per-

sonal injury.

• Loads should never exceed 1/3 of the vehicle’s total load capacity.

• Loads should never extend more than 1 foot on either end of the rack.

• The truck rack adds more weight to your vehicle and raises the center of gravity when loaded. Use

caution when making sharp turns to prevent product damage, cargo loss, or the vehicle from rolling

over.

• Use su󰀩cient tie-down straps when transporting cargo on the truck rack (sold separately).

• Not for use with step-side trucks.

• Be sure all nuts and bolts are tight on a regular basis and no foreign objects are preventing the

rack from sitting or working properly.

• Scratches and dents should be inspected to ensure full usability.

Assembly Step 1. Connect the side bar sections (1) with a connection plate (2). Fasten with bolt set (A), as in Fig. 1. Fig. 1 Step 2. After placing the bolts (B) in the hook (3), install it on the side bar (1) and secure with bolt set (A). Note: the hook bracket determines the installation position of the cross bar and the support foot, and the distance can be adjusted according to the need. Fig. 2 Rev. 011019 DiscountRamps.

Step 3. After placing 8 bolts (C) in the groove of the cross bar (4), install the plastic cap (5) at both ends. Insert the plastic gasket (7) into the connecting base (6) and install it on the cross bar (4). Bolt set (C) is used to fix the connecting base (6), as shown in Fig. 3: Fig. 3 Step 4. A bolt (B) reserved with the hook (3) will be attached to the connection base (6), and the supporting foot (8) will be mounted to the cross bar (4) and fixed with bolt set (C), as shown in Fig.

Fig. 4 (cont.) Step 5. Place the truck rack on the bed of the pick-up truck. Adjust the supporting legs (8) to the appropriate distance, and secure with bolt set (D). Make sure all hardware is secure. If using with a truck cap, apply the foam cap tape (9) onto the truck bed rails in between the ladder ramp brackets. This will help fill in the gap between the truck bed and truck cap created by the brackets. Once the tape is installed, install the truck cap onto the truck bed. Fig.
