There are, however, many different types of grapes with some more suitable in the home garden than others. Marquis Seedless is a mid season, white seedless grape with large, spherical berries borne on large clusters. It has excellent flavor, good hardiness and is best suited for home gardens. It was developed by a breeding program at Cornell University. Flowers of Marquis are self-fertile.
