The Valley Craft Auto Grip Mechanical Fork Lift Attachment is ideal for pick and place in a warehouse setting. It can be attached quickly and easily to the lift truck and allows a single operator to pick up, transport and unload empty or full drums up to 1500 lbs. This unit includes standard jaws that are spring-and-cam actuated to grip with pressure equal to the weight of the drum. Rubber-lined jaws adjust to fit most smooth-sided 30-, 55- or 85-gallon standard and overpack drums, or any cylindrical object 18in. to 20in. in diameter. The usable fork tube size for the Auto Grip is 1 5/8in. x 5 5/8in. x 16 3/4in. The Auto Grip adjusts by sliding apart, so there is a variable width of 13in. to 25in. between the forks.
