The band saw HBS 20 by Scheppach is a robust saw for cutting soft and hardwoods. For this purpose, it is equipped with a saw blade, which is suitable for many applications. The workpieces can be guided very well on the sturdy metal table, the adjustment below the working surface enables miter angles of up to 45 °. At the table itself, the supplied stop can be fixed so that exactly straight cuts are achieved even with larger workpieces. The saw blade is driven by the 250-watt induction motor, which ensures constant speed and smooth running. The passage height for this model is 80 mm, which makes the band saw ideal for modelers and hobbyists who occasionally have to deal with thicker workpieces. The sawdust is removed by the sawing down, here on the housing a suction nozzle is provided so that commercially available suction can be used.
