Polk built the db Series speakers to deliver the powerful, detailed sound of premium speakers, but without the big price tag! The db460 4"x6" speaker combines a polymer/mica composite woofer with a rubber surround to keep the midbass crisp and clean. You'll enjoy the smooth high-frequency reproduction of the liquid-cooled, silk/polymer composite 3/4" dome tweeter. Instead of the high-pass filter found in most car speakers, a built-in 2-way crossover network sends the appropriate frequencies to each driver for cleaner sound and better imaging. Grilles are not included — factory grilles are appropriate for most installations.
