OSD's R83DT is a surprisingly affordable audiophile-grade in-ceiling speaker. It uses finely crafted drivers and delivers exceptional clarity no matter what you're listening to. And since this speaker has stereo inputs, you only need one to enjoy your music's full stereo mix. This speaker uses an 8" carbon fiber woofer with a TPR surround. The added rigidity that carbon fiber provides means the driver is lightweight, sturdy, and lightning quick. It has no problems dishing out detailed, stout bass. Twin pivoting 3/4" ceramic coated aluminum dome tweeters mounted over the middle of the woofer handle the high notes in your music with care and finesse. The speaker comes with two unique contour switches that change s the output level of the tweeters. There are -3dB, 0dB, and +3dB settings to help you match each tweeter to the area's acoustics.
