NIBCO 2-1/2" Cast Iron Swing Check Valve

The Reliable cast iron swing check valve is distributed by NIBCO. The valve is spring actuated and has a grooved end. Check valves prevent backflow by automatically closing when fluid reverses direction. This valve is generally installed between the Siamese connections and the riser to prevent backflow. The check valve is recommended for automatic fire sprinkler applications where space is a premium.
