Willow sticks are harvested every 1-year or 2-years for fencing material making the classic peeled willow fences. Willow is 1 of the most environmentally friendly and ecologically sustainable materials as it releases zero carbon compared to metal and plastic fencing. Our classic peeled willow fences are constructed with only mature willow sticks that are thick enough to have their skin peeled and to go through the process known as high pressure steam carbonizing. This process results in a polished mahogany tone that resembles an aged smooth log house type texture. They are then woven together with black nylon coated wire which allows these carbonized willow sticks to last longer in outdoor conditions. These classic willow fences come rolled.
