The HML-8 from Larson Electronics is a waterproof 100 watt halogen handheld spotlight with a 5 million candlepower rating. The lamp is a 100 watt tungsten H3 bulb that produces a 1 800 lumens light beam capable of reaching over 900 feet in length and is rated at 1 200 hours of operational life. Users can adjust the light beam to produce a tightly focused intense spotlight beam or a wide floodlight beam simply by lifting the lock tab behind the lamp housing and rotating the lamp head to adjust the beam configuration. Continued rotation of the lamp housing disconnects the lamp head from the handle assembly so operators can easily and quickly replace the bulb when necessary. The light is constructed with a high impact nylon handle and lamp housing and a thick polycarbonate lens for extreme durability.
