JBL All-Weather 2-Way Coaxial Loudspeaker with 8" LF

The gray AWC82 All-Weather 2-Way Coaxial Loudspeaker with 8" LF from JBL is a weather-resistant, full-range loudspeaker system ideal for speech and music-fill in large areas. The speaker is comprised of a high-power coaxial 8" low frequency driver and a 1" high frequency compression driver and offers a consistent 120° broadband pattern control. The co-axial design utilizes a tapered pole-piece design and transitions to the cone ofthe low frequency driver as a large diameter pattern control horn for the high frequencies, eliminating high-frequency beaming and extending pattern control to the lowest possible frequencies. The low frequency cone is kevlar-reinforced and features a well-damped surround for smooth frequency response, a high temperature voice coil, and a reduced distortion design through saturated-gap magnet geometry.
