Innovating Science

Innovating Science chemistry kit is used to demonstrate how a disappearing rainbow can be created using chemistry, and has six indicators—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet-- when combined with acids and bases. The kit has materials to complete the demonstration seven times, and includes an instructions and safety data sheet (SDS) packet for product information and handling procedures. The kit is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision, and meets the requirements for Department of Transportation (DOT) small quantity exemption 173.4, and conforms to 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 173.4 for domestic highway or rail transport only.
