The 9/16 in. Engineered Plywood oil-rubbed planks provide a very natural looking wood floor. Oil finish is used to enhance the natural characteristics and general appearance of the hardwood flooring. The oil soaks into the wood itself and forms a protective layer in the surface. However, it does not protect against wear as polyurethane finish does. It will scratch easily but it is easily repaired as well. This product has achieved GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and has been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, to meet these standards.
