The medium direct vent cast iron stove features up to 26,500 BTUs and comes with millivolt ignition and an on/off switch. Millivolt systems feature a standing pilot that you light at the beginning of each heating season using the push button Piezo igniter. Millivolt systems do not require electric or battery backup. The systems work with any of Empire's seven remote control accessories – from simple wall switches to thermostats to hand-held programmable remotes.
