CRUX Wiring Interface

You'll only be able to retain your steering wheel audio controls with a compatible car stereo made by Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream. No other brands are currently compatible. Crux's CS-TJ20 interface ensures that you can keep the factory steering wheel controls and the factory JBL amplifier in your Scion, Toyota, or Lexus when you install an aftermarket radio. Another plus — your Toyota's auxiliary input will still work with your new car stereo. Connect this interface to the wires on your new stereo's wiring harness, and you've covered the power, ground, and factory speaker connections for your new stereo. You'll also be able to keep your backup camera (if present) in select vehicles. This adapter has RCA jacks to connect to your car stereo's rear aux input; you'll need an RCA-to-miniplug adapter if your stereo has a minijack.
