The following table describes t he labels in this screen.
17.7 Download Service Screen
The D ow nloa d Ser vice screen allows you t o download files from the I nt ernet .
Click Applicat ion s > Dow nloa d Se rvice t o open t he following screen. Use t his screen t o m anage
the NAS’s file downloads.
Note: By default , t he NAS saves downloads in t he adm in share’s dow nloa d folder.

Check t his t o let anyone on your net work use iTunes to play m usic files in t he published
shares.
Apply Click t his t o save your chan ges.
Reset Click this t o rest ore your previously saved settings.

Use t his opt ion ( and click t he Apply butt on) to t urn t he dow nload service off or on. I f you
turn off t he service, all downloads are paused. Files currently downloading are queued.
Turning on the download service resum es downloads ( or restart s them if they are not able
to resum e).

Use this opt ion (and click t he Apply but ton) to t urn t he dow nload service not ificat ion off
or on. See

At t he tim e of wr iting, t he NAS supports RSS 2.0 feeds.
Click this t o get and subscribe to t he NAS channel feed. This enables you t o keep t rack and
download t he NAS’s new cont ent s ( item s) .
Add After you find a file to download, copy the file’s URL. Then log into the NAS web
configurat or and go t o t he Applica tions > Dow nload Ser ve r screen and click t his
butt on. A screen opens where you create a new download task. You can past e t he file’s
URL or use a P2P download file.
