exam ples:
Daylight Saving Tim e ends in t he Unit ed States on the first Sunday of Novem ber. Each
tim e zone in t he United St ates stops using Daylight Saving Tim e at 2 A.M. local t im e. So
in t he Unit ed Stat es you would select N ove m ber, First, Sun da y, at 2 : 0 0 .
Day li gh t Sav in g Tim e en ds i n t he Eu r o p ean Un io n on t h e last Su n day of Oct ob er. All of t he
tim e zones in the European Union stop using Daylight Saving Tim e at t he sam e m om ent
(1 A.M. GMT or UTC). So in t he European Union you would select Oct obe r, Last,
Sunday. The t im e you specify depends on your tim e zone. I n Germ any for instance, you
would t ype 2 because Germ any's t im e zone is one hour ahead of GMT or UTC ( GMT+ 1) .
Offset Specify by how m any hours t o change t he t im e for Daylight Saving Tim e.
Apply Click this to save your changes. I f you configur ed a new tim e and date, Tim e Zone and
Daylight Saving at t he sam e tim e, all of the sett ings t ake affect .
Cancel Click t his to rest ore your previously saved set tings.
