HTTP (Web Published Shares)
This is t he NAS’s web publishing feat ure t hat lets people access files using a web browser without
having t o log int o t he Web Configurator. Use UPnP port m apping t o allow access to t hese files from
the I nt ernet without having t o ent er a user nam e or password. See
Section 17.8 on page 230 for
m ore on web publishing.
10.5.4 UPnP Router
UPnP allows access t o your NAS through a UPnP router. Click N etw or k > UPnP Por t M apping >
UPn P Router t o check if t he NAS has found a UPnP rout er on t he net work.

Use t his screen t o set how t he I nternet gateway’s UPnP feat ure configure’s t he I nt ernet gat eway’s
NAT I P address m apping and port m apping set tings. These set t ings allow I nt ernet users connected
to t he I nternet gat eway’s WAN int erface t o access services on the NAS. You can set which port
I nt ernet users need to use t o access a specific service on t he NAS.
