XOHM Connecton Manager Interface
3.4.2 Airplane Mode
Enabling Airplane Mode shuts down the radio for WiMAX and Wi-Fi devices. This allows
you to conserve power and work offline and in areas where wireless communication is
prohibited.
To turn on Airplane Mode:
1. Click Settings > Turn On Airplane Mode.
– or –
Click the Airplane Mode button in the Connection Status view of the main window.
2. Click Yes when the confirmation screen appears.
To turn off Airplane Mode and allow the radio to connect to wireless networks:
Click Settings > Turn Off Airplane Mode.

Click the Airplane Mode button in the Connection Status view of the main window.

Note
You can also set Airplane Mode to be on at startup through the General menu in the
Connection Manager Settings popup window. This may be useful if you are going to
be boarding an airplane and want to use your laptop during the flight.
