8.6 Diagnosis

8.6.1 Ping
If the CPE fails to access the Internet, run the ping command to preliminarily identify the
problem.Todoso:
1. ChooseSystem>Diagnosis.
2. IntheMethodarea,selectPing.
3. EnterthedomainnameintheTargetIPordomainfield,forexample,www.google.com
.
4. SetPacketsizeandTimeout.
5. SetCount.
6. ClickPing.AsshowninFigure8‐13.
